Gastrointestinal Diseases

Diseases of entire GI tract include acidity, vomiting, pain in abdomen, ulcer, GERD, IBS, ulcerative colitis, crohn's disease, celiac disease, microscopic colitis, gall stone disease, cancers of esophagus , stomach, colon, small intestine piles, fissure, Solitary rectal ulcers, intestinal tuberculosis, vomiting of blood, bleeding in stool, difficulty in eating, dysphagia, chronic diarrhea, chronic constipation,fecal incontinance etc.

Liver Diseases

Various liver related issues like hepatitis A and E, Hepatitis B and C, chronic liver disease, alcohol related liver disease, fatty liver disease, jaundice due to any other reason, primary sclerosing cholangitis, primary biliary cirrhosis, liver transplant counselling and preparation, post liver transplantation management Management of complication of liver disease like hepatic encephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, gastrointestinal bleeding, infections in cirrhosis etc.

Pancreatico-Biliary Disease

Chronic pancreatitis, acute pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer are most common pancreatic disorders. We provide medical treatment for these diseases. Extensive diagnostic evaluation including EUS can be done at our center. We treat complication of pancreatitis with endoscopy and most patients can be managed without surgery. Surgery however may be required in properly selected patients. We manage biliary disorders like jaundice due to bile duct stones & cancer by endoscopically removing stones & placing plastic /metal stents by ERCP (without surgery). By EUS, Gall bladder drainage can be performed in case of cholestasis for patients who are unfit for surgery.

Functional Gastro intenstinal Disease

Gastro intestinal disturbances in form of bloating, burping, constipation, diarrhea can be due to functional disorder i.e. without obvious lesion /pathology, we have expertise in diagnosing & treating these disorders. we also have breath test & Manometry to identify long standing symptoms & which accurately diagnose functional diseases which are not picked up by routine diagnostic methods. These diseases include GERD, functional dyspepsia, IBS, Functional chest pain, functional constipation etc.
